I LOVE the idea of more titles - since currently there are like ... 3 or 4 titles in the WHOLE that game I like. So having a variety of titles would help someone like me to actually advance in the Kind title-track.
And the activities required to obtain the listed titles seem fun!

easily obtained titles shouldnt be around?

lol ok, just get rid of every title then. you pve kids still dont get it, titles mean nothing. its just shows an accomplishment to your achivement in games, which is why this does deserve a title. you completed all elite missions, you deserve a title. you completed all missions, you get one.

the fact your not realizing is you pve kids THINK titles mean something, and dont want easy titles added cause it dosnt show skill. um, news flash, pve is a joke. and all the titles can be obtained easily. there isnt one single title in pve that isnt leeched,gimmicked,or bought.

Fixed that one for you. I'm mainly pvp and i like to complete most of the titles. Not to show off, more cause it gives me a goal and something to complete. I'm not impressed by other players titles, unless they are impressed by it themselves, and thats only possible when i know them. I like my ranger r3 survivor, i like my para r2 survivor, my assassin r3 survivor leaves me stonecold because how i got it...

I agree completly that people put to much value to them. But thats more elitism. Elitism != titles. Hate elitism, not titles.

/semi-signed, it will not help against class-discrimination and in worst case help with title discrimination. It will never help against that.
I only agree cause it can encourage players to finish all elite area's with a character, as a motivator.

its not intended to be literal "kids playing pve" the term "pve kids" refers to players who after 3 years still dont pvp because they suck, think its too hard, cant get groups, or whatever the excuse is and continue to whine about the game on a pve aspect. "pve kids" is adults still on training wheels on their bikes, they want a challenge in guild wars, aslong as they still get to use their pve only skills, cons, and dont have to fight anything that could beat them.

i am a pvp player aswell, so you might know me. but on the note of titles, my main char is a monk named Simmons and has 21 maxed titles. most of them are ones i can do easily, with heros (guardian, vanquish, skill hunter). it gives me something to do when the guild is not online or i dont feel like gvg/ha. which is why a title based on completing all the elite missions should be in the game, it does nothing to hurt pve, it gives a reason more then just a chest to do elite missions again.

R1 Conqueror of Tyria
Complete all elite missions, including Malyx, sorrows fernnace, slavers exile, FoW, UW, Urgoz, the deep, and Tombs of the primeval kings. This title does not count for GWAMM.

I've been waiting for this title for awhile, and would like it and keep it as my main.

Remove it from the GWAMM count unless someone has GWAMM, and then it would matter, if you remove the problem of it being "just another title" then would that suffice?

Seriously, the solution is simple, but the use of it is great. I hate it when people kick someone for lack of the class they feel best with, and not based on experience. Holy trinity rains over all it seems.

just keep the name simple, Legendary Conqueror, every other multi campaign title is Legendary X, also means highest rank.

dont change how the system of titles works. especially if your idea dosnt even make sense

did i say pvp, i really ment pve. Amazing huh, a pve player going for titles only for himself cause he likes to complete it rather then show off:P. For the rest, i agree with you about the title as you probably noticed.
